Sea Sense uses community theatre as a tool for delivering educational entertainment in rural communities. Theatre artists are recruited from coastal villages and trained in story-telling, role playing and scripting, focusing on issues of local concern. The issues are then acted out in a series of small drama pieces, designed to provoke discussion and debate amongst the audience. This form of educational entertainment always attracts large crowds and ensures that conservation messages are accessible to all age groups, genders and social backgrounds.
