SEA SENSE ADVISORY BOARD

Sea Sense is governed by an Advisory Board, which provides overall strategic guidance for the organization. The Board is responsible for developing policies and procedures, identifying key risk areas, providing financial oversight, and reviewing the performance of management. It also ensures that Sea Sense complies with all relevant laws and regulations in Tanzania. The Advisory Board meets at least three times per year.

The current Acting Chairperson of the Board is Dr. Rosemarie Mwaipopo (University of Dar es Salaam). Other members include Nura-Lisa Karamagi, Melkiory Ngido (Barrick Gold), and Pooja Harikumar.
